Good location by nature with views of the sunset on the Ottawa river. Right by Ottawa and the Gatineau Park, the nearby park and the Ottawa river. What a such wonderful stay, nothing to complain about.

The beautiful surroundings allowed for plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking and boating. the hosts of the property were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. They provided us with helpful advice on what to do in the area and made sure we had everything we needed.

One aspect that I didn't particularly enjoy was the presence of dogs on the property. Although they lived outside and didn't interact with guests, as someone who is not a fan of dogs, it was still a bit of a discomfort for me.

I can hardly find anything negative about this place. Maybe the only downside would be having to leave eventually! I should have planned a longer stay to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and all the amenities the hotel had to offer. Other than that, it was a perfect experience that exceeded my expectations.
